Available. Accountable. Involved Through Closing
Serving buyers, agents, builders, and investors across the Gulf Coast, from Texas to Florida. When your money is working, your banker should be too.
Why the name TheWorkingBanker?
Before I exited the brokerage business, I always joked that I’d become a banker next, but one who worked. Life is funny that way, I was hired by NOLA Lending Group after its acquisition by First Federal Bank of Florida. Those who know me well were not surprised when I named my professional website TheWorkingBanker.com.
My years in private equity and real estate brokerage taught me that responsibility ends up falling on the agent, broker, home builder, or manufactured home dealership simply because no one else takes ownership of it. I believe the lender should be an active part of managing the transaction from contract through closing.
That means anticipating issues, communicating with the people involved, keeping financing on track, and working through problems before they become closing problems.
My job is not simply to provide the loan. It is to help manage the financing side of the transaction from that first conversation to closing.

How I Handle the Financing
A good mortgage experience should feel organized, clear, and well managed. I stay involved throughout the financing process, communicate what is happening and what comes next, and work to identify issues early so they can be addressed before they create unnecessary problems.
The Working Banker Standard is simple: be responsive, pay attention to the details, communicate with the people involved, and take responsibility for the financing side of the transaction from contract through closing. The goal is not just to make the loan, it is to help the entire transaction move forward with fewer surprises.
